About Nashville's Insulation
Nashville's Insulation is an insulation contractor serving Nashville and 64 more towns across 12 counties of Middle Tennessee — and we stake our name on how the work goes.
Insulation is sold by the inch and the difference is the air sealing nobody mentions; a foot of blown fiberglass over an unsealed attic floor is money that leaks around itself. Our crews seal the attic plane first, insulate to code depth, and write the R-value and the square footage on the quote.
What we do
- Air-seal first. Top plates, penetrations, the attic hatch and the can lights sealed before the insulation goes in.
- Insulate to the number. The depth and the R-value on the quote, verified with a ruler at the end.
- Ventilate correctly. Soffit baffles kept open and the attic ventilation checked; insulation that blocks the soffits rots the roof deck.
What we will not do
- Blow over wet or moldy insulation. Wet insulation is removed; the moisture source is found first.
- Cover recessed lights that are not rated. A non-IC can light under insulation is a fire; they are boxed or replaced.
- Foam a roof deck without a plan for the HVAC. A sealed attic changes how the house breathes, and the ventilation and the equipment are part of the design.
What we actually work on
Attic and crawl space insulation in Nashville.
The insulation problems Middle Tennessee homeowners bring us most often:
- Upstairs rooms never cool down
- Energy bills climbing every year
- Ice or condensation in the attic
- Drafts you cannot trace
- Rodents have been in the insulation
- Floors cold over the crawl space
Who does the work
Every insulation crew we run carries liability insurance on file with us, and the crews applying spray foam are trained on the product and the ventilation it requires.
Beyond the paperwork, the test is how somebody handles the part of a insulation job that does not go to plan — the honest call when the estimate has to change, and whether you hear about it before the work or after. The insulation contractors who stay with us are the ones who have passed that test on jobs we know about.
Why we do not publish reviews yet
No reviews on this site yet — a company this new has none to show, and an attic is judged by the power bill.
Where we work
Insulation crews serving Nashville also cover Franklin, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Hendersonville; the range is 65 towns in 12 counties. Each of the main cities has its own page — what its houses mean for insulation, who issues the permits, which neighborhoods are inside the run.
If you want to understand the work before you speak to anyone, our insulation guide covers what drives the price, what your options are and what a badly done job looks like — written so you can judge any insulation contractor in the region, including us.
Who we are
Michael Blair owns Nashville's Insulation, runs it day to day and is the one who answers for what these pages say. We write them from the documentation manufacturers publish, Tennessee code and insulators’ own practice, and rewrite them when those change; posts go out under his name with their dates. Insulation crews on our jobs carry a license and insurance and are accountable to every commitment on this page, and the work is backed by Nashville's Insulation.
Checking an insulation contractor takes a few minutes: verify.tn.gov shows whether a Tennessee contractor’s license is current, the certificate of insurance should be in your hands before anyone climbs into the attic, and your town’s permit office is listed on its city page.
